Monument Valley probably belongs to some of the most photographed landscapes. Many views are close to cliche; however, also hard to resist. On a one day visit like the one I made in spring 2017 you have to cope with the weather and particularly the light as is. It was a slightly hazy day with an increase of the wind during the morning. By midday it was strong enough to pick up dust and sand particles producing interesting views, but a tough time for the camera gear.
The photos in Gallery Monument Valley were made with the Mamiya 645 Pro on Ilford FP4. Unfortunately some rolls of film suffered from the airport x-rays.
