The photos in the Gallery Macro were all made in the seismometer room of the Seismological Station Bensberg of Cologne University, where I worked for almost a quarter-century. The equipment shown is mainly from the 1950s and 60s when the station was established and then gradually upgraded.
The photos were made with the Mamiya 645 Pro, an adjustable extension bellows, and 150 mm lens. Lighting was the ceiling fluorescent lamp in the window-less room and a LED ring light. Usually I work with my Pentax Spotmeter V; however, here I used the internal metering of the Mamiya prism finder. Film was Ilford FP4 developed in Rodinal.
